For over forty years, BWA have given financial and management advice in respect of construction, development and facilities management across the whole spectrum of private and public enterprise. Today, BWA's innovative thinking assists new and established clients meet fresh challenges posed by the ever changing environments in which all organisations must operate both effectively and efficiently in order to survive.
The practice has advised on schemes ranging from the creation of new communities to pioneering environmental developments and large corporate relocations. In the 1970/80s, the practice worked on relocation strategies for major clients including Conoco, IBM, Scottish & Newcastle Breweries, Ernst & Young and Shell, followed by commissions for the Department of Trade and Industry and the Financial Services Authority in the 1990s. Since 2000, BWA has continued to broaden their project management experience with a diverse range of new-build, refurbishment and fit-out projects for organisations such as Goldsmiths College, Royal Star and Garter Homes for Disabled Ex-Services personnel and S J Berwin (Solicitors). More recently the practice has worked on a new 500,000sq.ft, 7 hall Data Centre in Essex for a major financial sector organisation, the relocation of Ravensbourne College to a new 150,000sq.ft home next to the o2 Arena in Greenwich, together with several new retail stores for Apple.
BWA are also proud to support the Help for Heroes charity on various projects around the country. Since inception, BWA have played a highly proactive role in urban renewal, working with the likes of Metropolitan Workshop, Matrix and Urbed, together with Local and Regional Community groups and Councils, providing noth project services and financial management on various, wide ranging redevelopment schemes.
